Today we’d like to introduce you to B2 And BRAVE.
Hello B2 And BRAVE, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself
We are B2 and BRAVE, a new music duo representing Los Angeles, CA. Originally born in Chicago, our dad is a Designer for a lot of hip-hop moguls like P Diddy, Future, G Herbo, and Nicki Minaj, so we’ve been around hip hop since we were born. My dad would design while listening to artists unreleased music to get the vibes for their tours and performances. We were there learning rhyme patterns and timing. Since moving to LA, we have been working on acting, music, karate, and more. Music is where we felt we could be most helpful today.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Things have been progressing very well, but covid has definitely halted some of our plans. Aside from those delays, we have enjoyed using music to help other kids who may be looking for a creative outlet.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
B2 is 8, and Brave is 5. *We started our music journey here in LA as musicians specializing in Hip Hop for kids. DO The DASH is our first single and is a record designed to establish confidence for kids who may need some encouragement in that department. Having released the song and accompanying video on January 20, we are so proud of this accomplishment. It has been an amazing experience to present the project, and be able to let everyone know that it’s available on all streaming platforms. It has really allowed for us to connect with kids all over the LA area!
We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
We define success at this point in our career, as being able to show other kids their superpowers. It’s important that we kids tap into what makes us unique. It’s a message that is important to us, as we know how amazing it is to know the abilities you possess. Aside from that, a Grammy nomination sounds nice!
